- About
- The pictures I make on paper are thought processes. They address how invisible and tangible systems somehow coexist; and map the overlap of: (manmade and organic worlds), (health and illness), (compassion and greed), and (mortality and immortality).
I am heavily influenced by my work as a land steward and horticulturist, as well as by my studies in geology, evolution, psychoanalysis, and literature; I borrow the inner workings and imagery of said subjects. I lasso tail ends of ocular or interior impressions, then follow the murmurings to decide their arrangements, distortions, repetitions, and proportions, mapping the way Everything is, while asking all the ways it could be.
