I make furniture, products, clothing, paintings, and mixed-media work. My practice is driven by curiosity and a hands-on approach to making. I enjoy exploring different materials and processes and seeing how they influence the final piece. Rather than working within one discipline, I move between design and art depending on the idea I’m exploring. Each project becomes part of an ongoing study of materials, craft, and the process of creating things by hand.
Inspiration
I'm inspired by the people around me who are constantly creating and pushing themselves to make new things. Being around other artists and designers keeps me motivated, but a lot of my inspiration also comes from an internal drive to keep making. Whether it's furniture, paintings, clothing, or something completely new, I always feel the need to be working on the next idea.
