About
I paint to find a place for what I see and what I cannot quite understand. I enjoy looking, and in that I find endless possibilities. The longer I look, the less certain I become of where something ends and my own perception begins. The paintings become the space between intuition and order. They allow what I’m thinking and seeing to exist outside of me.
Practice
I like to move around, it's important to extend. I paint on raw canvas. I use acrylic, but I like spray paint, charcoal, and chalk/oil pastels. I will sometimes use photo transfer when it feels important. The paintings are human sized or larger when I can.
